Finance Which Should i Coose plz Help!
Hi, i am currently on the market for a mid-range gfx card i was looking at the 256mb ATI 9600 cards are these any good? i want to be able to run games like need for speed underground and unreal tournament 2004 do you have any suggestions?
thanks for any help

AMD Athlon 1.3Mhz (Dus the Job)
1034Mb RAM
Hercules 3D Phrophet 4500
60Gig HDD, DVD-Rom etc..
Win XP Home

Sweeper is on a distinguished road
The 9600 series are decent cards. They will play those games. The main issue is the "SE" version of these cards. Stay away from those as they are clocked both on the core and memory "SLOWER". Not sure why they even put the "SE". Anyway, a nice 9600 Pro would be a good mid-range card to use. DX9 compliant and pretty good speed. Try NewEgg.com for some Sapphire 9600 Pro's. Good Luck.
