icq file transfer troubles

hey y'all
I'm not even sure where i should post this question but I've been having some troubles with my icq. i haven't been able to send or receive any files for a few days now, although i was able to receive files before. i didn't make any changes to my icq settings so i was wondering if it could be the wireless router that i'm using but today i found out that there's not even a firewall on the router (am not in charge of the router, just using it ) so that doesn't seem likely. i have a firewall on my computer but again i didn't make any changes in any settings and it did work before. any suggestions anyone? thanx

you might have to set up port forwarding in the router for whatever port icq uses. dont know what router you're using but icq's website has alot of FAQ's you might want to check out, and google is great too.

it's d-link DI-624 and i'm starting to dislike the thing because there's only trouble with it... i've had a new one since saturday but was using the same type before and didn't have to adjust it for the icq to work...
