Home page keeps changing?

my home page keeps changing to (about:blank)
even when i set the default to www.google.com when i close and reopen
its back to about:blank please help not sure what to change?

have you recently checked your system for spyware? don't know if it will help, but may be worth a try

ive downloaded hijack this and spybot and ran them both, deleted "about:blank" from regedit then i go to internet explorer but the dam thing comes back even if i default it to google first
so i looked in regedit again and low-and-behold there it is.
how can it come back when its been deleted and how do i get my home page back :-(
im running win XP and ex6

You might try this:

Start > Run > ( input ) - gpedit.msc > Enter > User Configuration > Windows Settings > URLs > ( right click ) - Important URLs > ( select ) Properties > ( tick ) Customize Home Page URL > ( input ) - Home Page URL > OK

I'd do it right after you clean it out.

If this is a trojan then try running

The Cleaner .

Free for 30 days - update definitions.
