no keyboard

THIS worthless *&&^&* motherboard is going in the dumpster spent way too much time making the keyboard work thanks to everyones help but this things dead

slot one mobo
Atrend ATC 6120
PII 266 cpu
64 mb pc 100
I got the mobo to post with just the minimum attached-floppy HDD cpu memory keyboard mouse but I cannot enter setup because it seems I have no keyboard I get a long single beep followed by a continuous series of short beeps which I assume is due to not having the keyboard working. Tried three good ones(one of them the one I am using) to no avail. When I power up there is no light on the keyboard at any time. Did I miss a jumper or hook up something on the front panel wrong? I am at a loss I cannot seem to get the keyboard up at all. Is this mobo dead? Please help
Thanks

Do you get any video?

If you do not get video, try re-seating the video card.

There is a fuse type thing on the board that if blown causes the keyboard to be non-functional. But there are other options, get a USB keyboard or there are splitters that allow you to use a ps2 keyboard and ps2 mouse from the same plug-in on the board. Also some of the older boards have pins on the board that allow you to hook up a dongle with ps2 ports on it. Many PC Chips boards have this, but others do too.

thanks

shooter--I have everything including video except the keyboard thanks

elroy--thanks it sounds like that may be my problem I was unaware that could happen I am looking for a usb keyboard to use my barbie board anyway so I will just try it when I find one
they have been too expensive for me to purchase for old give away systems but this is a worthwhile cause so if I can learn from it and gain that way I can condone spending the bucks if I get a usb keyboard will I have to do anything more than just plug it in as the board has two usb ports?
