counter strike slowing probs?!? help!

my counter strike has suddenly started slowing down real bad. and tyhe problem is its not in ping its in fps. i can run far cry on all medium and still not slow down. im having trouble fiximg my slowness on cs and im not the biggest comp wiz so help me plz thx

try switching from opengl to d3d drivers or whatever they are called in the options menu(in game).

What kind of vid card?

got it fixed by re installing xp
