IBM Laptop with ATI Vid Card help

I just got through work a new IBM T41 laptop.

The laptop comes with a ATI Mobile 9000 graphics card...

I am wondering do I have to use the drivers for the ATI graphics card that IBM has for download or can I download the drivers from the ATI site if they have any?

You should be able to use ATi's Radeon Mobile drivers. But why wouldn't you want to use IBM's? Are they outdated? They should be pretty current.

So nothing to download from ATI itself? Their (IBM"s) ATI drivers are about 2 months old.. and me being the upgrade dude would like to have the latest drivers on the comp....
