Any of them will give you a very dramatic performance increase from a P3 866MHz CPU.

I'd go with a 2400+, I have one in this system and it flies.
I do a lot of gaming with it as well.

I was astonished at the speed difference between this and my older P3 1GHz.

well value for your prices would be
80/2000=0.04
96/2200=0.043636...
100/2400=0.041666.......

so we can see the 2200 is a little overpriced. I built a Gaming system for my g/f with a 2000+ in it and it plays everything fine, be sure to get a good video card too. She has a ATI9000, works ok, but if you want to do real gaming get atleast an ATI9600

You should see quite a difference going form 866 to 2000+ mhz, I wouldnt even try playing any new games on a 866 machine hehe.

Also why not take your machine overseas with you? Allmost all powersuplys have 115/220 switch so they can use ether, just need to get a different cord to run from the wall to the powersupply.

if you can spend the extra ~$10 US then get a 2500+

big performance difference due to 333 fsb and 512 cache

not to mention a great overclocker

Get a XP Mobile 2400 to 2600+. They are only around 100 bucks at newegg and with a decent mobo and ram u can OC em all the way up to 2.4 to 2.5 and still be prime95 stable.
