in comparison with the deluxe model, how would you rate this one?

They're the same thing. The Deluxe model just has more bells and whistles. Two NICs, SATA RAID controller, MCP-T SoundStorm audio instead of AC97 6 channel... Or the E-Deluxe has a GigaBit NIC and a 10/100 NIC rather than two 10/100s.

If you don't need the extra hoo-ha, save the money and just get a normal A7N8X.
