Have a Bell N Howell metal 8mm movie projector - not Super 8 -
works (but not bulb)..
Haven't thrown it out (I think ) as it might be a classic-type item...
most projectors use very expensive bulbs and that is where most of the cost comes from. On the digital projectors that a lot of bussinesses and schools use the bulbs can run up to $600 and they only have a few thousand useable hours if your lucky. I doubt the bulb in your projector costs as much but I would imagine it still to be somewhat costly.
