last nite for some unknown way i lost all my mail on outlook express. i did not delete it , but is is gone. is there any way to recover, window me

search your hard drive for any .dbx files

go to the "find" box and put it "*.dbx"..without the quotes..those would be your outlook express folders

or look in C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Identities\ and there should be some long string of numbers such as {3d561620-861A-11e7-9655-8F345639762}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

Thanks JOHN i found the files but dumb me me does not know how to open and read them, or how to restore them to outlook express again which i would like to do

Open Outlook Express, go to File, Import, Messages and try getting them back from your application data main identity folder. If that doesn't work, someone else here will probably have other ideas for you.
