8Mbps DSL ??

Saw a headline over at broadbandreports that somewhere in England they offer 8Mbps DSL ??????????????

For $49.95/mo, no less!!!!

Now, not to mention how valuable that kind of bandwidth would be to businesses all acrossed THIS country.........can you IMAGINE what 8Mbps would be like to have?????????

And get this............their regular old, plain-jane, vanilla DSL is 5Mbps and only $39.95/mo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTHeck???????????

Now whenever I get over 2Mbps on my typically 1.5Mbps broadband, I'm gonna have to keep it under my collar so as not to EMBARASS myself over what the "old-world" is getting acrossed the big pond!!!!!!!!!!!

i have cable and get 3.00 mbps maybe they have better lines there?

Exactly.........you have *cable* and you get 3Mbps.........(which is REALLY good, BTW) but these folks are gettin' 8Mbps on COPPER!!!!!!!!!!! Yeeeoooowwww!!!!

I have wireless radio internet @ 11Mbs (consistant) for $49.95 it is great if you can get it in your area.

I've a 3 meg dsl. However, I also have the option of a 10 meg cable connection for 70 bucks a month if I wanted. Unfortunately, my budget won't support that.

At least one part of this petty country offers 8mb/1mb vdsl line for 50€/month.
It has offered the line for long already.

There is one but in that, the cheapest solution (described as service class 1 in their ads), has about 2 ports open (21 and 80).
So, that line is pretty much of no use. The higher service classes have more open ports, but still, their service is pretty bad

My ISP is introducing 7mbps DSL at the end of the month for $59.95/mo. CDN ($44.25/mo. USD). Right now I'm on 5mbps DSL for $34.95/mo. ($25.80/mo. USD)

I currently have a 1.5mb/256kb DSL connection.
At the month my ISP is introducing 3mb/384kb DSL which I'll be switching to.
