Kids I can open hard drive

I left the drive open, and when I came back to take a sit, with my leg I somehow broke the thing sideways, and it got like stuck, and I couldnt close it. I forced it closed, and then it opens but very little. How can I fix it? Without haveinh to pay anything? Its like very hard to open it, and close..And I need it fixed soon. Pls, someone tell me what to do.

I assume, you mean the CD-rom drive? If the gears inside ar broken or mangled, it's probably better to get a new one. they can be found relatively cheap, like <$40 for a 52x cdrw...

You must mean your CDROM drive. It sounds like you knocked the tray off its track. If you are so inclined, you can remove it from the computer and open it up to see if it's repairable. If not, maybe you have a friend or family member who's good with fixing stuff do it for you.
