Outdoors Windows display problems

This is getting me very frustrated. I just paid $30 to make a clean install of win98 and problems start arising the same day.

I don't know what is the cause but the problem is that even though I installed the latest NVIDIA TNT2 64 PRO driver for win98 the display doesn't obey. When i want to increase the res it asks me to restart the computer when i set the options to change w/o restarting. Also when I boot it never ends loading. The stupid cursor keeps blinking and nothing happens until i restart it. Also in my beggining of windows i get an error message saying that it might be a wrong driver. But i checked it. 56.64_win9x_international

It is so annoying. I cannot even see the colors of the smilies and the scroll bars look gigantic. I feel like alice in wonderland. Someone help me plz! I even reinstalled windows and the problem persists! ITS DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!!!!!!

Send a message via AIM to originel
are you using a US install of windows? or korean? if it's the english go ahead and try the us driver.

Also try uninstalling the driver (in add/remove programs) and see if it continues with the default driver. if not then you know it's the driver. then reinstall the driver. make SURE you uninstall the old driver first...the nvidia drivers don't behave well if installed on top of old drivers.

im using korean windows with the international driver

after untinstalling the driver and installing the default windows driver the problem continues and reinstalling the NVIDIA driver doesn't improve the situation.

Gee, thanks for your help. I just installed the driver that was included with my card. It must be a problem with the driver.
