Kids UT vs. Halo

so what do you think is better the UT games or the Halo games.
and please give a little comment

Creatures

UT

because i think Halo is a cheap little copy of UT, Unreal is pretty long in business i play unreal 1 and that was already an amazing game (especially the gore ) and UT (played it finally) is also a great game, everything before halo,. Now i'm not sure when halo came out maybe before UT2K3 or after but still UT2K3 is way better, after playing both games (indeed i played halo longer than 10 minutes) my choice is still UT2K3 it has just the feeling of a real unreal game

but of course i'm an "old" gamer i started with dos games where you could be able to count the pixels, and my first ego-shooter was Unreal 1 (except duke nukem 3D ) and maybe that's why i think it's way better than Halo microsoft things

I can't even play Halo with an athlonxp 3200+ and a radeon 9600xt video card.
That means UT is much better.

If the question had been 'Unreal' or 'Halo', I would've gone Unreal. But since it's Unreal Tournament or Halo, I go Halo.

The whole unreal tournament series is just about the same as nhl 200? series.
Every year a new game, slight graphic improvements, nothing more, but the price tag is the same.

what is nhl 200?
I only have the original UT. UT 2003 looks exactly the same from what I've seen.

NHL 200? refers to nhl2000, nhl2001, nhl2002, nhl2003, nhl2004 and so on.

You know the nhl series from ea, it's basically the same game rereleased every year...

I played ut2k3, then I went and played ut2k4. It was such a bad deja-vu I had to quit...

//edit:
And there was a year between ut2k3 and ut2k4. Pretty bad imo.

I'm curious, do UT 2003 mods work on UT 2004? It's basically the same game so it's worth a try

I have been able to use the maps from ut2003, so likely mods would work too.
I would have to disagree, there was a lot of extra game play added to ut2004, i would think it is a good upgrade. I bought ut2003 and was very happy with it and got a good year of game play out of it, it was my most played game, atleast on pc, used to play games more on console, but i hardly have the time or patience to play much games over and over till i completely master it. However I have enjoyed the ut series quite a bit, all have seemed worth it to me to purchase them, and so i have.
I haven't been disapointed, i really enjoy the extra types of game play added, bombing run was ok to get off of DM, but ut2004 is worth it over ut2003.

I've played Halo thru to the end recently, but my first and all time best FPS game is still UT !!

I'm a big FPS fan, but even with all the recent game releases, UT is still the one that I keep going back to. I just love the gameplay and the atmosphere that draws you right in to the game, and of course all the extra maps mods and conversions make a huge extra bonus too
