Speed Stepping Question

Hey--
I am running the new dell inspiron 5150 with p4 3.2ghz, 1gb ram, 64mb nvidia go5200 graphics card. I have run into some problems with the speed stepping while playing star wars galaxies and was wondering how you turn speed stepping off on my laptop. I am running windows xp pro.

all i had to do was set my power scheme to "always on" instead of "laptop/notebook scheme" and it uses my full 3.2ghz processor instead of half of it =) just gotta be careful when i unplug the power cord to switch it back!

maybe u can setup a "profile"...a hardware profile...one power scheme when on battery and another when on wall juice...would be cool if it could switch automatically...seems like there would be a way to do that.
