Old Laptop..

Im looking to get an old laptop. Im not wanting to pay more then $200 for it. Something atleast 200mhz. I used to have a toshiba 320cds. I really like the cds series but the screens they have are so bad. They are bright enough but man, the smearing! Anyone know of any older laptop models that had screens with a descent response time?

Have a poke around there, ive been checking that site for about 2 years now and it hasnt changed si i would be inclined to trust them but ive never bought from them.

In your price range though.

make sure you get a TFT screen not a dual scan like you had. The dual scans are very bad for visibility and refresh.

I picked up a compaq prosigna 150, on Ebay for 200. It is workng well so far. You should keep your eyes on Ebay auctions.

I got one I'll sell yeah. It's a Dell Lattitude CPi D300xt (celeron 333 and I belive 256 mb ram that's upgradable). Comes with 3.5" floppy bay, cd-rom bay, nic card, and a soft leather case. Case has normal signs of wear and tear, no dead pixels on the screen and is very bright. If interested email me @ tmurphy7@san.rr.com.
