Very Weird Problem
The weirdest thing happened yesterday...
I pulled out my video card to check if it had an R350 or an R360 core and to see if it had Hynix memory (I was going to flash the bios to turn my 9800 Pro 256 into an XT). I couldn't see because the thermal goo was in the way and didn't want to take it off as I didn't have any extra available.
I put it back in and when I tried to turn the puter back on, the power LED came on but that's it! The hard drives didn't turn on, CPU nor case fan turned on. After a bit of fiddling I got the memory LED to come on but nothing else.
I swapped in an old video card and old memory that I know works, took out everything that is unnecessary to POST (Power On Self Test) but still nothing. Throughout everything, I was very careful to take the power cord out of the back and touch the case to discharge any static.
I think it may be the motherboard, PSU, or both. At any rate, I am bringing it in today to get an exchange seeing as how they are both less than a month old. I don't think I'll be going with a generic power supply this time.
What do you guys think? Even though I'm bringing it in, I'd like to hear some opinions. Thanks again.

Sorry kiddies. I didn't think the A word was all that bad...
