netsky virus

help me to understand something.

someone (not me) is very faithful to not opem any e-mail that is not from someone she personaly knows.
and will not open any that has been fwd.

how could this virus get into her system.
I am looking for all possibilties
she does run avg twice a day too, thats how she found out she got it.
but we are trying to fiqure how she got it.

and she does not download anything unless she checks with me first.

she does use incredimail and weatherbug against my advise.

everything I can find out about it is that it only comes in on a e-mail

I had no problem getting rid of it.

I run Outlook for my email .. and for my Inbox I don't have the preview pane open for that box. So I only see the sender (prolly fake), msg subject, and the kb. I then create rules within Outlook on all the damn spam I get, so when it is received it goes directly to the Deleted Item Folder.. which in that folder I also have the Preview Pane turned off.
