Help - Client Access License?

Can anyone explain to me what the Client Access License is in Windows 2003? I am trying to figure out which one to select in the setup...

Per Server?

Per Device or per user?

What is this and which one should I choose?

Client Access License (CAL)
A license granting access to certain Microsoft server software.

• User CAL
A Core User CAL allows a unique user to access Microsoft server software from many devices such as a work computer, home computer, laptop, Internet kiosk, or personal digital assistant (PDA) without having to acquire CALs for each device.

• Device CAL
A Core Device CAL allows users to access Microsoft server software through a single device.

• Core CAL
A license that allows customers to access Microsoft® Windows Server™, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SharePoint™ Portal Server, and Microsoft Systems Management Server through a single device.

• User Core CAL
A Core User CAL allows a unique user to access Microsoft server software from many devices such as a work computer, home computer, laptop, Internet kiosk, or PDA without having to acquire CALs for each device.

• Device Core CAL
A Core CAL based on the number of qualified desktops that access licensed server software. For example, a Core Device CAL allows users to access Microsoft server software through a single device.

Ok it supports two licensing modes:

Per Server (default 5 concurrent connections)

or

Per Device / User

I am just trying to set up a web server here. That is all I am using this OS for. Which one should I pick?

Nobody is going to access anything on this server except a website. So does it really matter what I choose?

from the link I posted...

Quote:
A Windows CAL is not required if access to the server software is via the Internet and is "unauthenticated"—for example, accessing a Web site for general information where no identifying credentials are exchanged
So you probably want to choose Per Server.
