Kids Strange graphic errors in UTK2004/FFXI

dont really know what the problem is, ive tried updating drivers, and tweaking settings, but in utk2004 and ffxi, the graphics look fine, not a problem, then it can be 5 seconds to 5 minutes later, weird graphics problems start.

- Giant simple one shade textures shooting off into infinity

- charactor models, on some random place, the texture shoot off into infinity again

- giant holes in the ground, just see through

- 3 feet off the ground will be a giant texture in grey, or red, covering everything

there are a lot more, but they are all the same, some weird colour, makes a spiky thing, then shoots off into infinity, its very annoying, but also confusing, as it doesnt really start right away, but after a little

the worst thing is, it seems to be getting progressivly worse, now, its just insaine, giant spikes shooting in all directions off of anything moving, large gray flats just covering everything 12 feet up and 3 feet under, happened recently.

its just these two games, half life works fine, Call of duty works fine, its just annoying >_>

spec
directx 9.0b whatever the newest one is
radeon 9600 pro latest drivers from website
512 ram
some sort of generic on board soundcard
motherboard is some crazy thing, not even listed on comp manufacturer website

ack, any help would be appreciated, its so damn annoying, as these are such great games

err i also posted this in graphics card / display area, by accident, ack >_>

I had a similar problem in Battlefield Vietnam. You might consider reinstalling the game, or trying a different video mode, restarting, and playing the game. Then change back to the video mode you were in and reboot. Solved part of my gameplay problems.
