WHATS THAT BEST PSU!
i knwo this question might have bee asked before but not by me atleast, but anyways i bought a powmax case that came with a powmax 400watt psu, and after reading some buyer reviews on newegg.com THESE THINGS SUCK! and they burn out, just like mine did, ive only had it since last november, and it burned out yesterday while playing Postal 2, i need a good reliable psu that can power the following....
Soyo kt-400 mobo
amd 2500+ barton (non-oc'ed)
512mb Corsair pc 2700 ram (1 stick)
ati radeon 9700 pro
samsung 32x cd-rom
6 gig fujitsu hdd
30 gig maxtor storage hdd
i need a good psu to power these without a hitch, adn if anyone has any coments about powmax and wanna share please any info if worth it.
oh yeah try to keep this under $60 dosent have to be all bells and whitsles just want it to be reliable.

well, those are nice, still would like more info. some one else also said something about pc pwoer and cooling.

i liked the antec and the pcpower although like u said a lil more pricey, do y'all think i need more than 350 powersupply? will check out the the other 2.

SuperMicro has a 750watt triple redundant PSU that fits the standard slot, it expensive but the best.

Hehe... sure, a casual user needs one of those... lol
I have a 100 watt Bestec PSU (in an HP) that's running 3 PCI expansion cards, 2 HDs, a CD drive and an 800MHz celeron and board.
It may be a bit more than 100, but that's what it says on the label...

I used to use Enermax exclusively, but recently switched to Antec TruePower/Trueblue for my current builds. I like the Trueblue 480W. Having said this, if I were building a box for me -- and money was available -- I would use the PC Power & Cooling 510.

The one the best suits the needs of your computer and all its parets as they work together, while not being a source of excessive heat or noise by itself or draining your wallet of money you need to pay the monthly electricity bill.
Saying that, I would add, "Don't worry so much about wattage, as much as what the PSU does with it".
