Silent Hill 3
Hey everyone, I just got a PS2 yesterday and my girlfriend bought me Silent Hill 3...now I've heard of the game through a gaming magazine, and a commercial...I think. But this game is quite fun actually. I think myself though, that Resident Evil is a better game than it. Silent hill 3 is fun, but there isn't much action, and without a stratgie guide it gets kinda confusing here and there in spots. But I do appreciate the bit of creepyness, having quite beat it yet...dunno if I'm even close to tell you the truth, but I just wanted to kinda post my own review on it. I mean, anyone else playing it right now, or playied it? I'm still a bit confused on the storyline, I'm just asking any of you, if the storyline is good? ...is it? Ha, I'm still lost on what's going on, but I'm definitly enjoying it...anyhow, thanks for reading.

I rented it one weekend. Almost beat it but ran out of time. Had to take back and didn't want to pay for another week. I thought it was cool. Kinda confusing at times. .Thats when I got online to get a little help. Yeah the action did get slow at times. Alot of running around and stuff. Would have to visit the same areas over and over because I missed something. But most game like this are alot alike. Same gameplay differant storyline.Any fan of Resident Evil would like this. Have you played the new RE yet? Plan on renting one day. Quote: |

well i loved all of them, in the 3rd somethings tie togather form the first 2, i dont really think u need to play the first 2 to understand it, i like it better than resident evil, becuz of the story line, and the creepiest, well if u want to get to the end theres different endings 2 of them. but i loved em.

Well I beat it. I didn't think the game was all that scray at first but man, from the Hospital till the end of the game....yikes. I was talking to a few friends at home who playied it and they all said it was hard...and they both said they liked the "radio" concept...I told them I turned off the radio cause I thought it was annoying. They both called me completely insane...it's not that hard without the radio...I mean you can hear the monsters coming and most are so big it's easy to see them. Not to mention that the light also makes them stand out alot. I dunno, I enjoyied the game over all and recommend it for people who liked the first 2 or like any of the Resident Evil series, and truely want to get scared from a game (who would have thought a game could scare people...((could make a movie about that...call it "The Game")) kinda the double remake by Americans con of "The Ring" a.k.a. "Ringu") Thus, people begin to think I'm insane...

I liked playing it, but it was difficult sometimes finding stuff because its so dark. I enjoyed the dark atmosphere but jeez I'd like to see where I'm going!

Actually...I beat the last few area's at midnight, it was freaking creepy, I would turn a corner and BAM! Another monster....or that little girl crying as you run through the other parts of the church. By the way there is to be a Silebnt Hill 4: The Room...I'm sure a few of you know about it, or even more, have playied the demo.
