HP Vectra VL400MT and Dell Dimension XPS R400
I recently got 2 PCs..ONe is a HP Vectra VL400MT and and the other one is a Dell Dimension XPS R400. The problem i'm having is that when i boot up the machines, i don't get the normal boot up screen with the bios version, memory information etc but instead i get a screen with each company's logo which stays for some time before it starts windows. I want to get rid of both the dell and HP logo screen or whatever it is.... Can anyone help me on that.
Also on the Hp one i can't go on bios because it ask me for a bios setup password which i don't know. I cleared the cmos setting twice-first by dip switch setting and second by battery- but it didn't remove the password window that comes up. i know the cmos was cleared since it boots up on floppy now and wasn't before..Plz help.
