Trouble installing vorbis codecs

Hi, I got the Vorbis and Lame codecs from links provided by www.dvdrhelp.com and my XP box won`t let me install them. It just says that the installation has failed. When I look in the audio codecs they are there but I can`t use them. So I have tried to remove them and install again but it will still say failed. Even tried installing in safe mode.

Any ideas as I am stummped

Always worked for me. Try getting the Ogg codecs from here. The Ogg is the last of the links.

I installed the vorbis codec played the file and crashed wmp. Looked in audio codec props and vorbis has no options so I enable it. It then disappears of the audio codecs props.

I`m what you might say confused.
