Systems Color Printer Problem <plz help!!!>

hello!

i'm having problem in my cannon S200 printer...
i've been using it for more than a year now and its prints fine but when i tried printing colored pictures last month the colors are different from the screen....
i think it lacks blue color in it. the way i see it, it only prints black and red shades.

plz help!!! i want to know if its a computer or printer problem... or whatever the problem is.

any comments, suggestions and solutions are welcome....

there should be a head cleaning utility . try that .

First guess is you're out of blue ink.

Second guess is the heads are clogged.

Third guess is your monitor is not calibrated properly (most people's aren't).

i'm sure its not the ink cause i use new ones.

also, i've already tried to clean the head but it still doesnt print right.

how would i know if my monitor is calibrated properly? maybe thats the problem...

marie if the colours of your monitor look correct,
but the colours from your printer look incorrect.

Then your printer is is probably at fault.

Does your printer allow a 'test page' to be printed,
so you can check the individual colour tones?

I would check this first. R.

hello RustyGT,

the picture in the monitor looks correct but it prints differently.

i've already made a test page and it only prints shade of black and red...

Then your printer is at fault.
I'm not familiar with that model.
Have you a user manual for it?
If not, perhaps you'll need to have it serviced.
