Although I'll probably still give it a try, I'm a little disappointed that Mandrake 10 doesn't include Gnome 2.6 (same goes for SuSE 9.1). It looks like Fedora Core 2 will be the first distro with it...
Gentoo got gnome 2.6 pretty fast(in testing anyway). I used it for a couple days before switching to something else. Its got some really annoying bugs.
I am unsure if I have 10.0 official. After adding the 10.0 mirrors I was able to upgrade from the RC and the problems with konqueror/KDE have ceased, along with the version stating 10. Just a thought
That's interesting. I've noticed that a lot of people that are using Gnome 2.6 are on Gentoo (either that or the 2.5 version on Fedora Core 2 Test 2). What types of bugs did you experience, Epyon? I have been using Kde 3.2 for a few weeks now and have been very pleased (although overall, I think Gnome just looks nicer).
If you installed 10 CE, and keep it updated (as I have) ..... You will have the same software as the 10 "Official" release. I will still d/load it when it becomes publically available, just to have up-to-date ISO's.
