logitech 5300

I just ordered the logitech 5300 speaker system from http://www.pcuniverse.com/index.asp for 143.00 bucks shipped. I also ordered the santa cruz sound card for 45.00. Does anyone have this combo, if so how is the sound quality? I know it might be a little late to be asking questions but I know any speakers will be better than the 20.00 pair karmons I currently have. I was torn over these and the logitech 560 but I figured since I have enough room to space apart the three speakers correctly in front I might as well go with the 5.1 system.
Give me some opinions
Matt

I don't have those speakers but I have the sound card. It's a great card.

I have the 5300's set up with a SB Live 5.1 . They sound great and kick butt.... This comming from someone who had 2 12" car subs hooked up to the computer along with an older full sized home stereo system. They get plenty loud and it is very hard to get them to distort even at full volume. Got 'em for $146 shipped from Newegg.com about a month ago.

Blech, I still hate the 5300's. i got them from an RMA'd Z560 set. The 5300's are nothing compared to the 560.

The freqeuncy response on the 5300 sucks, i had to work and get my 560 sub working alongside the 5300 sub. Sounds much better.
As far as clarity goes they are very crisp, but I had a problem with distortion so i took apart the 5300 speakers and hooked up my 560 sats. No distortion and they sound a heckuva lot better.
Power is another issue with the 5300. I can tell that the dont get nearly as loud as my 560's. My 560's could be heard plain as day a block away, but these 5300's are just a whisper a block away.

The 5300's are a nice cheaper set, but if ya can please get the 560's.
I have these speakers on a SB live! 5.1
...hmm where was i going with this post...
