dual display black and white?

I have a triplex parasouls 9600pro and when i enable dual display and plug the video out into my tv, the display on my monitor is fine but the display on the tv only shows in colour while it is loading windows. Once it reaches my desktop it becomes black and white.
I am using catalyst 4.3 drivers.

any ideas what might cause this?

Try changing the format settings in the advanced display properties for your TV-out connection. I assume you are using NTSC, right?
