Very impressive, but I sure hate that fan. Nasty awful looking thing, and it takes two slots up.

It beats being really loud, besides the GeForce 6800 non-ultra has a one slot fan and only one molex connection.

And up until now I was perfectly happy with my 9800pro
I think I could do with a 512mb 6800ultra I could sacrafice a pci slot for that.

I'm going to pick one of them up in may, my 9700pro isn't cutting it, at least not now that I can buy twice the proformance for only $300(the retial price of the GeForce 6800 non-ultra)

wow, that card is quite the shiz! I ain't ready to go drooling just yet. Wait until ATI introduces the R420 the we'll see who has the best stuff. And if they run neck to neck again, I'll go ATI. That huge HSF on the geforce sucks!

LOL, didya notice they dropped the "FX" monicker? Looks like they are just as anxious as everybody else to get away from its reputation.

I got a Radeon 9700 Pro, so I dont intend to upgrade for a year or so at least. It plays everything just fine. I'm a penny pincher, so I wont drop it till it starts lagging.
