AGP cards come in three slot configs, 2X,4X and 8X. Just make sure what your looking at is 2X compatible, and you're set. I bet you can get PCI cards that are comparable to a 2X AGP, but I could be wrong.

The board is a 7IXE (Aye not One), right? That'd mean AMD 750 chipset, indeed with no 4x support.

All Radeon 9200 series cards are still backward compatible to 2x AGP. 9600 and most of 9800 series aren't. More graphics horsepower would probably be wasted anyhow, given the slow CPU. I'd go with a plain 9200, or, if you can find one, a 9000pro (identical chip w/o AGP 8x support, but with faster core and RAM clocks).

doesn't matter what your system ram is . just as long as you get a card that supports 2x agp

I would rather go for an ATI Radeon 9200 than that video card.
The Radeon 9200 as mensioned still support AGP 2X, and its a decent card.

Xabre-200 is about on the same performance level as the Radeon 9200, but with much less driver care from the manufacturer. If you're concerned about running recent games, use a Radeon, else the Xabre is a good bargain. Another point for the Radeon is it's fanless and quiet.

The resent games which need advance cards also require the system specs higher than what i have. The Games which falls within the specs of my system does not need to have VRAM more than 32MB. I am interested in following Games only.

EA Cricket 2004
Quake III
Need For Speed Hot Pusit 2
Medal of Honor
Wrestling Game ( I do'nt know which will work good )
Collin McRae Rally 2.0
Call of Duty
Coutner Strike
