Battlefield 1942/Vietnam players

www.clanimo.com is now in the midst of revamping our group/clan structure and we would like to invite you to help us out. what we are working on doing is setting up a non-traditional clan setup.

Heres the deal. Some people want a "clan " with all the regimented practice, ladder /league play, But a lot of people don't have time or want that. (me for one.) What I propose to do is set up a 2 tiered clan setup.
step one is to get as many people as we can to join our group that will meet up when we can to play. (xfire is great for this.) no time comitments, no practice and only one rule. work together as a team. (we use teamspeak so we can coordinate our efforts.) If your already a member of a clan thats fine come join us for some fun when you can.
Step two will come into play when we have enough people who want to have a ladder/league team. at that point they will be able to work out there practice times and rules for membership on the team, but thats down the road a bit.

eventually I would like to get donations so we could set up our own public server, but that too is down the road.

If all of this works out it will benifit both groups.
group 1 would have a team to help back them up, and group 2 would have a reserve of players to fill in for ladder/league matches when some one can't be there.

does this sound like it could work to any of you ? what would you do differently?

I am also looking for a few people who have leadership expierence in clans (on and off the battlefield.)

thanks for reading my post and your input

Sounds like a plan. I hope to be doing a little more playing in the near future. Exams are the week after next. After that, I'll be out with you guys. If I can get TeamSpeak working properly.

Well, I got a part time job, so maybe I'll save up some money for the legal version of Veitnam. If so, you know im in.

As far as BF1942 goes, I'm already in.

I never said illegal; all I did was say I may have enough to buy the legal version now.

things a going pretty well. we have added a few new members, and are still looking for more.

I must say it has been nice to go online and see several members playing and working together. (although it still needs to be a bit more organized as far as strategy.) Presently we have two types of squads. Assault led by bizkit, and my group who are into subversive actions. (mines, booby traps, snipers, stealing rear flags. you know just being a P.I.T.A. pain in the ***)

so if you have the game come join us for some semi-organized mayhem.
