Editting boot.ini
Is there anyway to edit the boot.ini in XP to additionally give me the options to boot to safe mode in W2K and 98?
Current choices at startup are XP, W2K, & 98.
Can't get to safe on the latter two.
Thought a new thread would be better.

No, immediately after hitting enter for the OS it goes right into loading the OS.
Here
is my original thread on safe mode.

/safeboot:minimal /sos /bootlog /noguiboot
Try this switch on the end of the o/s you want in the boot.ini
Steve
ps
The /sos/bootlog/noguiboot are not really essential to booting to safe mode.....but can help with troobleshooting etc
