Need Graphic Opinion on Image

Okay, I think I have my latest banner resembling something I can work with. It is still, however, missing something.

Could you guys give me a fresh perspective on it and let me know what I can do to make it really stand out as a "Wow, nice banner"

Nice. I like it. Since you asked, these are a few of
the things I might alter. Keep in mind this strictly
my opinion and nothing more.

1.) Possiby use a different color for the lettering of the page title.
I just used blue and didn't even match it to the correct shade of
blue that the Jags use (if you go with this idea DO use the correct
shade of blue. ) But anything other than the color that is directly
behind the letters will help.

2.) I would dupicate the drop shadow (and possiby the bevel too)
from the text and apply it to the cat's head as well.

3.) Just a touch of inner shadow for the photos to make them look like
they are inset.

Hmmm, I was considering the Text color as well. Went ahead and changed it.

I also liked the Bevel and shadow the Jag Head.....thought I had already.

I didn't care much for the inner shadows on the smaller images, however, I am thinking of going to a round window for each as opposed to the everyday boxes they are sitting in.

What do you guys think?

The wheels are starting to turn again...darn my lack of knowledge...

Okay....if I went to round "windows" for the mini pics, how would I get a glass like covering for them? I mean I would like them to appear as a sphere of sorts....ugh...can't explain it .

My first suggestion would be to drop the Jags and root for a good team!

Okay, on a serious note, I agree with Out - the text color needs to change on "The Jag Zone".

I'd also make the "Proud Member of..." text a different color. Maybe even white.

A drop shadow on that text might also keep it from clashing with the stripes in the background.

Lastly, I'd look for a new screen shot to replace the 4th player (the one with the NFL logo in the back). It's too dark. Look for a brighter shot, or retouch that one.

Overall, however, I think you've done a great job!

LOL, my team is actually the Oaklland Raiders, but I am currently playing a franchise mode with the Jags in Madden 2004 PC.

I hadn't noticed the darkness on that screenshot, thanks for pointing it out!

I have also changed the "Proud member of" up a bit..=)

It's all good. I no longer have a problem with the Seachickens as they are no longer a division rival..
