Netgear ADSL modem and router config issues...help appreciated

I have setup an ADSL connection with Netgear DM602AU modem and a Netgear MR814 router

For some reason, after a while, maybe an hour of connection...the MR814 router drops the connection...even though the modem is still connected...

So, the MR814 is losing the internet connection with the modem...

It is a strange thing to setup...I set the modem to 192.168.0.2 and the mr814 to 192.168.0.1

Has anyone experienced this before?

Internet connection is in Australia.

The mr814 has several LAN ports and wireless access point.
