My computer stops responding and the screen goes black after I insert a cd into the cd/rw drive. This also happened when I was doing a transfer of files from one drive to another. I have reloaded WinXP and I still have the problem. No virus' found on system either. What the heck could it be......anyone have any sugets?

PS...I have a: AMD 1.53GHz w/ 256 DDR and a 30gig drive. I have tested the mobo and drives and no errors were found. I used "PC Check" for the testing.
