Blurry monitor

Everything on monitor seems blurry this is an older CRT about 5 years old and its not my eyes my kids even said it was blurry looking.
Could my video card be going bad ?

No, your monitor is going bad. At five years, that'd be normal wear.

What is the make and model of your monitor and graphics card. Older graphics cards seem to have a hard time getting decent picture quality at higher resolutions.

If this is the case, the picture would have been poor from the begining so at a geuss, it's the monitor.

I agree with Peter M. I think its time to substitute that monitor with a new one. Its normal for a monitor to fo that when it gets old enough.
