Outlook - Return receipts

I get a return receipt on all of my emails. This is great. My problem is that they do not tie to the email sent. I know it says you should be able to go into you sent email folder and look at the email and it will have a tab at the top that says "tracking" Clicking on this tab will show delivery and receipt of the email. The only problem is that only some of them have the tracking information, not all. Why do some have and some have not? How can I fix this to show the tracking on ALL of my emails? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

the email that you do not see the tracking tab..is that inhouse or email that you send outide (other than dept email)? If they are email that go out side the department, then you will not be able to see the tracking tab. It is a different server. Hope this helps
