Systems Help with new hard drive!

Any help would be appreciated....

I recently installed a Maxtor 200 GB Ultra Series Hard Drive. Everything is working fine. I transferred all my data onto it, it runs smoothly, quickly and quielty. However, when I boot up, it says "primary slave disk fail... press f1 to continue". Now, this seems like a common issue and I found many threads with this problem online. Only... they usually result in some kind of negative side effect like not being able to boot up. Mine doesn't do anything! I'm just sort of paranoid... It gives me this message, I press f1, and then everything runs fine after that. There's nothing wrong with the HD at all... I can access everything. Anyways, I was wondering if it's maybe some kind of BIOS error or what... I want to fix it so that I don't have to worry about it just being a ticking time bomb waiting for the right minute to destroy my PC! Thanks!!!

Is that what the new drive is? A primary slave? Do you have a primary drive?

Yes... I have a Maxtor 120 GB set as the primary master and the 200 GB set as the primary slave. I checked the jumpers multiple times and they're both definately correct (or at least according to the diagrams supplied!)

What about trying them both on cable select and put the 120GB on the far end (black connector) and the 200GB on the middle (grey connector).
