Talk I Would Like Some Advise Please

I am running Win XP Home. I like the pinball game that XP has.
Using the keyboard to play leaves a lot to be desired. Can any
one suggest a game pad that is inexpensive, easy to hook up,
that will work for this game. This and solitaire are my only interests in games.

A gamepad to play pinball? Interesting. I don't know if they will work with pinball. I didn't see any options in-game that let you select a different controller.
