My dad has about 25 minutes of audio files that he has created himself... They're 128kbps MP3 files, no music - just speech. He intends on distributing these to his clients and associates.
He wants to make these audio files readily and easily available to those who have subscribed to his e-mail newsletter. Now, even when sampling these files down to 32kbps - they're still significantly too large (at 5.3MB) to be sending as email attachments.
I'm trying to figure out the best way to get these audio files out, while bearing in mind that the computing expertise of the people who these need to get to is slim - often bordering nil.
He has plenty of bandwidth to do what he wants with, so what I was thinking was to embed these audio files into a flash movie and then make a link to that movie available online? Can anyone tell me another, more efficient method of streaming these files?
Thanks.
Brandon
