A must see Flash animation...

Anyone into Flash, using or just watching, you must check out this animation at Worth1000. It's one of the highest scoring entries ever at Worth. For anything to score over a 7 is great... over an 8 is incredible... over a 9 is practically unheard of... this scored 9.36.

Don't look to be impressed by Flash tricks and dazzling eye-candy, no no no. Instead notice how Flash (audio and visual) is used (& not over-used) to convery a simple but emotionally stirring story. Personally I think the artist that created it could make an outstanding film director.

Some of the things that really impressed me were the camera angles and various shots, especially when he walks out in front of the work building. The close-up of his profile as he realizing the women is frozen in time, the zoom into the priest's eye, all very good. Straight out of high budget hollywood film. Something else I appreciated when I noticed it, was the VCR on top of his television was flashing 12:00. I thought that was a good touch.

And the music...the music was nothing short of perfect for the piece. Simply perfect.

and too out, that's the good thing about drawing and creating your own animations, to make them better than the hollywood things, and in animations you can do things that arent possible in reality (without the special effects of course )

I have a question tho... Don't they(worth1000) get all wound up when someone uses something from their site and whatnot? I swore I recognized some of the music from the movie American Beauty in the flash. Copyright issues? How does that work?
