NTLDR missing+lost HDD

Im getting the dreaded NTLDR is missing error.ive tried reinstalling my windows XP Home cd but it tells me it cannot find my hard drive arrrrgh any help would be good???ive also tried burning NTLDR,NTDETECT from another pc running XP but i couldnt find the boot.ini file and the one i made in notebook i dont think worked so i didnt get very far!!!im new to this stuff as you can tell!!

I would check all connections first. Then, you can go into your bios and set all options to fail-safe, and reboot.

When none of that works, you can wipe the disk (killdisk.com) and reinstall XP. I hope you had your files backed-up.

NTDLR sucks.
