cant boot up
hello guys !
I have emachine t1120, 40 GB seagate hd, 1.2 celeron CPU, Running winXP
My computer started to act when I tryied to start it up it would just boot up all over and crash right when windows logo shows up. So it never boots up just keep restarting.
what I did:
formated the hd and tried to boot from win XP pro CD
all what it says is "NTLDR missing please press ctrl alt del to restart the computer"
I went in to the bios and it shows the CD room and HD no problem. The boot sequence is setup - CD-room HD floppy
When I boot up with win millenium start up disk or win 98 start up disk - CD room supported:
tells me that ur ram drive is C and ur CD drive is D
When I try "dir" command on drive D to see whats on the CD all what I get is " CDR101: cd drive is not ready
I switched different CDrom, Ram, Hardrive, Boot up disks, Win XP pro installation CD's
Anybody can help me please ?
