Nvidia or Asus Drivers?

I have an Asus V9280/TD Ti 4200 8X 128 meg Video Card. Which would you recommend: the latest Asus or Nvidia drivers? Thanks.

I would think nVidia would be the logical one to get.

Both are essentially the same drivers, as all GeForce manufacturers use the nVidia reference drivers for their base software design.

Accordingly, I recommend opting for the nVidia reference drivers unless your card has a specific feature not supported directly by nVidia (TV tuner, etc.).

Omega drivers are pretty good too...in some cases they can add a nice performance boost to your card. Anyone else have experience with Omega drivers?

Omega mostly just tweaks the LoD values for nVidia drivers, so I use RivaTuner to affect the same changes for the reference drivers.

However, I often use Omega's Radeon drivers, as I hate low-level tweaking ATI graphics drivers.

I am currently using 43.45 Omegas (performance) for my Geforce 4. Since installing I've encountered a couple of minor problems with the picture (not overclocked). It's quite strange. I've also noticed very few people use Omegas nowadays (compared to the Geforce 4 and earlier days).

I've always had better luck with the reference drivers from nVidia, FWIW.

Thanks, guys. I'll use Nvidia. By the way, I have heard that their latest driver has some issues. Anyone?

I've got an MSI ti4600. MSI update drivers go right to nVidias site. Fwiw.
