recovery CD's

Compaq laptop needs recovery and have only one disc and not 2 have made a boot diskette but without #2 disk Iam sunk. Can anyone help with a disk download. Presario 18XL280.

Welcome to the forum!

I dont think you can just download them...I think you may have to order them from compaq....and I doubt they are cheap....you would probably be better off to just buy Windows XP Home oem.

sorry for the bad news.

Unless there are compaq forums etc where people might already have the recovery disk you need etc

Yes they are available for only $10US but it is a time thing. I need a disk yesterday.
