Hehe, I just destroyed my power supply!
I destroyed my old AT power supply, because it didn't work, it only made a buzzing sound when powered on.
So, what I did was:
-Plugged it in, turned it on, and took 3 good hammer smashes to it. (Sparked the entire room)
-Grabbed it by the wiring and through it up into the street and it smashed into tiny pieces, then I disposed of it in the garbage can.
What fun!

Heh, maybe I should do that to my floppy drive when I find it. It never worked very well, and then it just stopped altogether, so I just unplugged it and put it in a box somewhere |

That's the lesson. | You know, that's a good idea. One of these days, I'm going to stop talking about chaining that old computer to my back bumper and driving around the parking lot with it. I'm actually going to do it!!
Actually, what I usually do is take things apart with my kids.

Congrats, you have taken the first step down the road known as destructive rage.
Now, find the yellow pages and contact a psychiatrist.

It's in human nature to do things like that.
It also relieves stress.

Oh yes, the sweet revenge upon defective equipment...
I took a ball-peen hammer to an old ISA modem once in the garage, and yes, it was fun smashing it to bits after all the trouble it caused.
wear your safety equipment... |
