Random Reboot with new RAM
I have just put a third stick of ram into my computer, running an AthlonXP 2200+, pushing the RAM upto the Gig, started it up and it was all good, windows recognised the RAM and was happily getting on with work when it reboots without warning or anything!!
Tried a few things, and at present i have 768mb of RAM using the first two slots on the mobo, if i put anything into the third slot the problem arrises, when putting the RAM into the third slot it is unusually stiff compared with the other two, any ideas as to why it doesnt like it, could the third slot on the mobo be blown or summat,
appreciate help!
