Any help around... I am about to die

My problem is this.

I used to play online games, but a week ago something happend and i can't play online anymore i just can't join games.

A friend told me that was a firewall problem, but i guess it's not cuz I didn't change anythig.

I am using DSL, i am not in a router it's only me. I am using Norton antivirus (I don't know if it has firewall...but if you know it does, tell me how turn it off..step by step plz =) ), I am on XP, but the XP firewall is already off.

maybe i have a virus or something like that, hacker, I don't know..plz help me..

I you know how fix it, or have an advice plz let me know i want to play again online.

I used to play : Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds. in Zone.com.

have you updated your games i.e. patches,a lot of servers
will not let you log on unless you have the latest patches for
the game you want to play

maybe go to www.antivirus.com and run their free scan to see of you have a trojan virus or something

What games? and what is the problem? Are the games just loading and not connecting? Different version error?
