Chipset Drivers
I have a Gigabyte 7N400-L motherboard. Does anyone else have problems with the nForce 2 drivers? When I first installed the 3.13 (latest) drivers with the IDE drivers, it only detected my primary master and slave, and my secondary slave, not secondary master. So, I rebooted with the secondary master unplugged, then rebooted again with it plugged in. It detected it, started installing and then the system crashed.
Everything seems to be fine if I choose "No" at the option to install the IDE drivers during the chipset driver installation, but won't Microsoft's IDE drivers not utilize the motherboard's capabilities?
Also, is there a reason I should be using the 2.41 drivers instead? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated and helpful.
Thanks a lot!
