Kids What kind of Tape??

I got myself a new Thermaltake Hardcano2 to monitor my proccesor (Which is being o/c'ed)

I understand how to install it to my CPU, but what kind of tape are they using?

http://www.thermaltake.com/support/i.../hardcano2.htm

Also, for my other sensor, I wanted to monitor my Radeon 9200 (O/C'ing it as well). On thermaltake's website it says to slap it on the back of the card. Why wouldn't it be under the heatsink?

Also, how hot should a video card be?

Thanks for your help once again,
Unknownguy

Edit: There was no tape "included" in the package

For the CPU they are using thermal tape. I got some with my Volcano 11+, dunno why you didnt get any with your purchase of the HardCano 2.

You wouldnt put the sensor for the GPU under the heatsink because the heatsink wouldnt sit flush against the GPU. So the next "best" place to place it is on the othe side of the GPU.

I could understand not needing tape for the CPU monitoring, as the chip is pushing against the seating. But for Video Card or Ram monitoring, I would need tape. I plan on monitoring/OC'ing my Radeon, maybe in the near future. I'm currently e-mailing them to see if they would send me some

Let's hope they have over-supportive tech support =D

Edit: I have some stickers (showing the model number and some other tech things) on my Radeon, could I peel these halfway off and put the probe under them? This is on the opposite side of the heatsink (the flat side of the vid card)

Where can you get it?

...If you really are dead stuck on thermal tape for some odd reason Radio shack can order it. Rarely stocked but it is available if you find an inteligent employee. I know. Used to manage one.

Check out radio shack and see what they say.
